Our Story
The story of Bun begins with its founder, Roshith Babu, a graduate of NIFT, India. After completing his education, Roshith embarked on a freelance journey, collaborating with interior and furniture designers, as well as renowned furniture brands. It was during his college years that he started a social media page to showcase his illustrations, appropriately named “Weirdo Bun.” This nickname stemmed from his distinctive long hair, which he often tied up in a bun, making him easily recognizable.
As Roshith continued to explore his creativity, he began sharing his furniture and object ideation works on social media, using it as a portfolio to display his talents. To his surprise, inquiries started pouring in from individuals interested in purchasing his unique pieces. Encouraged by this unexpected demand, Roshith mustered up the courage to transform his artistic vision into a practical reality.
Despite facing numerous challenges and financial constraints, Roshith remained determined to bring Bun to life. He persevered through countless difficulties and obstacles, never losing sight of his passion and belief in his brand’s potential. The journey to turn Bun into a reality was not an easy one, but Roshith’s unwavering dedication and relentless spirit allowed him to overcome every hurdle that came his way.
